These deletable, crumbly oatmeal squares are made with a crunchy healthy oats and blueberry preserves; have for breakfast or dessert!
1 1/2cupwhole wheat pastry flour
1 1/2 cupold fashioned oats
1/2cuppacked brown sugar
1 teaspoonbaking powder
1 1/2sticksunsalted butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all dry ingredients together. Cut in the butter in small pieces and use a pastry blender to mix until the butter is the size of peas. Press approximately half of the crust mixture into a 9×9 or 9×12 inch greased dish. Spread the jam over the crust. Top with the remainder crust. Cook for 40-50 minutes until golden. Cut into squares.
