Ready to get your wild blueberry smoothie on? This “Wild your Smoothie” contest is perfect for me as this is my go to breakfast and pre workout meal everyday.  Wild blueberries are one of the top sources of antioxidants that help to scavenge up all of those free radicals that are roaming about our bodies.  This smoothie is satisfying, delicious,  as well as nutritious.  I pack it with a frozen banana, wild blueberries, a slice of frozen ginger, and turmeric with a few almonds and some black pepper to help the absorption of the ginger and turmeric.  I also add a scoop of protein powder, a handful of spinach and some almond milk.  Its awesome for a quick meal, or snack and a quick grab to take in the car as well!

The frozen blueberries, banana, ginger and turmeric provide enough chill so you don’t even need ice! These baby blueberries are amazing; I like them more than other berries because there aren’t any seeds to get stuck in my teeth haha!
